Hello Carl! Welcome to Articles & Texticles. The news of Rowland's death has taken a while to get around. I guess that's a side effect of his peripatetic life style. It's hard to keep up with news of someone if they are forever re-settling somewhere else every year or so.
I hope you're well and prospering in these weird times.

I've only just discovered that Rowland is no longer with us - and that makes me very sad indeed.

I had been sent a photo of all the Richard Williams Animation staff - taken in 1975 outside the studio in Soho Square, London - and been asked to identify them all. Well, Rowland was there of course because he was our in-house designer/ illustrator at the time. He was a great character and we worked on many assignments together which I remember dearly.

My condolancies go to his family and loved ones.

Where, when and how did Rowland pass away ... I am so sad to read this news. Where is there info on all his Playboy cartoons, his comic strip "Noon Ringle" etc. A lot of us who worked w/Rowland in NYC a long time ago are interested. Thank you.
