On the 12th and 13th of this month, Daniel will be showing some work in progress from his series of paintings on the subject of Bluebeard.

Here’s a snippet from Paris Info describing the Open Doors day:

Artists open their workshops for this well-known event in the 13th arrondissement that takes place in a former industrial building, due to be demolished and saved by the artists, who have moved in there.

This year will feature some twenty exhibitions, jazz concerts and a tribute to Renà © Ach, the sculptor who passed away this year.

I’d love to hop on the Eurostar to see Daniel and his work, but I have too much work on at present. Shame, because Paris is so pretty at this time of year.

Great new posts, including this strange image. The location sketches below this post are wonderful to see. Thanks for continuing to share all this interesting stuff.

Thanks Clive! I hope you continue to enjoy it.
There’s a lot more of the film art direction book coming here soon.

I’m putting the text through an OCR program to digitize it, but it needs a bit of tweaking first!
