Hans Bacher, Typographer

It shouldn’t really come as a surprise, but Hans Bacher has turned his hand to producing a few typefaces in his time.

When I saw these faces, I had a sort of “Aha!” moment, which was rapidly supplanted by an “Of course; Why not?” moment.

    PS ‘West of China’ looks remarkably like ‘Tuscany’ doesn’t it?

    I’ll magically make it look different!
    And yes, I did buy Hans’s book. While I found the pictures to be as excellent as expected, I also wondered why Hans had done without the services of a good editor.
