I’m almost positive that’s Ward Kimball
@Ladytink_534: That was my first thought too. However, his name does not appear on the IMDB cast & crew list. Maybe it was a studio PR set up using Ward, because he was good at gurning for the camera…
Thoughts?
@Ladytink_534: After a bit of research, it seems that you were on the right track… In the comments on one of Mark Mayerson’s posts (mayersononanimation.blogspot.com November 20th 2008, 101 Dalmations part 21) in which David Nethery said: “The reason I remember that Sibley, Carlson, and Justice worked on the Siamese Cats is because I read it in an interview that Michael Barrier did with Ward Kimball. Apparently Kimball did some early work on the siamese cats which was not ultimately used in the movie and Michael Barrier mentions in a parenthetical comment that the draft credits John Sibley, Bob Carlson, and Bill Justice with those scenes .”
I guess Kimball never got the credit he should have had in IMDB….
It’s a young Mao Tse-tung, you can’t see his wart because the shadow under his lip hides it.
That’s probably why no one figured it out.
I’ve heard that Imdb does that often on older things
Felix – You are talking Tung in cheek.
