Airborne Paper Castles

Ruminating about the utter madness of making animated films the other day, a vision featuring a meeting of two people in a screening room flitted through my mind, and in this fantasy, person A showed person B a feature length live action film, and, after the credits had finished sliding up the screen, turned to [...]

I did a bit more digging around in the mattepainting.org website, and found that some of the matte painters on the site had obviously come [...]

Ratatouille Podcast

The marketing campaign for Pixar’s next release rolls on.
Have a squint at the latest Ratatouille Podcast here.
This new feature contains some of the most physical animation that I’ve seen so far from Pixar. Bodies are flying all over the place! Well, at least one body is. And it’s Linguini’s.

This last screengrab contains [...]

The Spider And The Zeppelin

This is a slightly calmer and gentler story from the Minuscule crew.
That doesn’t mean it isn’t crazy and completely branché, however!
It’s called “Zzeplin”

P.S. If this disappears, and I’m looking the other way and fail to notice, please get in touch by using the Contact Form in my “About” page, and I’ll [...]
